The consultation charge was Rs. 1200/-, I booked through Practo, but Fortis hospital, vashi didn't bother and registered the first time visit. First mistake of hospital was - without verifying details they given appointment of another Doctor Who was specialist of thyroid, almost 1 hr wasted then doctor told me that I am not. madhumita ghosh that u want. After 1:30 hr doctor came. Dr. Madhumita looked and taken history, but in the name of counselling, she charged 3000 for two counselling. I paid and thought next counselling is covered, but unfortunately When I contacted hospital they told the consultation 1200 3000, was for the one day. I raised my objection with billing and patient welfare dept. He received my complain, but no action. This is complete misinterpreting in the name of counselling I. e 3000/-** ****** ** *********** ********** **** *** ************* she should mention /charge of counselling per hour. she given 1hour, but charged in addition to consultation of Rs 1200 very bad.

I was consulted almost more than 6-7 times, what I experienced was doctor didn't listen & understand properly & made her comments based on her own perception. I consider Consultation with her was a mistake i made.

The doctor charged extra despite paying construction fees. Asked the receptionist but she also couldn't clarify my query. The hospital is trying to make more cash
